    Fajitas are fun. Wraps are portable. This is both.

    Sizzling chicken strips, charred peppers and onions, warm tortillas, cool sour cream. 20 minutes. One skillet. No tortilla skills required. Just roll and eat.

    Ingredients

    Serves 4.

    • 1.5 lbs chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into strips
    • 4 large flour tortillas (10-inch)
    • 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
    • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
    • 1 yellow onion, thinly sliced
    • 2 tbsp olive oil
    • ½ cup sour cream
    • 1 avocado, sliced (optional)
    • Fresh cilantro or lime wedges

    Fajita Seasoning:

    • 1 tbsp chili powder
    • 1 tsp cumin
    • 1 tsp paprika
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • ½ tsp onion powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp black pepper
    • ¼ tsp cayenne (optional)

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Season the Chicken

    1. Toss chicken strips with fajita seasoning until coated.

    Step 2: Cook the Chicken

    1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
    2. Cook chicken 5-7 minutes until browned and cooked through. Remove.

    Step 3: Cook the Veggies

    1. Add remaining oil to skillet. Add peppers and onion.
    2. Cook 3-4 minutes until charred but still crisp.
    3. Return chicken to skillet. Toss to combine.

    Step 4: Warm the Tortillas

    1. Spread sour cream down the center of each tortilla.
