Makes 12-14 fritters.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
For the Fritters:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour<\/li>\n\n\n\n
\u00bc cup (50g) sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
2 tsp baking powder<\/li>\n\n\n\n
\u00bd tsp salt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
\u00bd tsp cinnamon<\/li>\n\n\n\n
2 large eggs<\/li>\n\n\n\n
\u00bd cup (120ml) milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n
2 tbsp melted butter<\/li>\n\n\n\n
1 tsp vanilla extract<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Zest of 1 lemon<\/li>\n\n\n\n
1\u00bd cups fresh or frozen blueberries (if frozen, don’t thaw)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Vegetable oil for frying<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
For the Glaze (Optional):<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1 cup (120g) powdered sugar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
2 tbsp milk or lemon juice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Step-by-Step Instructions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Step 1: Make Batter<\/h3>\n\n\n\n\n
Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla, and lemon zest.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
