    • 1½ lbs (675g) ground beef
    • ½ cup breadcrumbs
    • 1 large egg
    • 2 tbsp ketchup or Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tsp garlic powder
    • 1 tsp onion powder
    • ½ tsp salt
    • ¼ tsp black pepper
    • 2 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

    For the Gravy:

    • 1 large onion, sliced
    • 8 oz (225g) mushrooms, sliced
    • 2 cloves garlic, minced
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
    • 2 cups beef broth
    • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
    • 1 tsp salt
    • ½ tsp black pepper
    • Fresh parsley for garnish

    Step-by-Step Instructions

    Step 1: Make Patties

    1. In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 oval patties.

    Step 2: Pan-Sear

    1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Cook patties 4-5 minutes per side until browned. Remove and set aside.

    Step 3: Make Gravy

    1. In the same skillet, melt butter. Add onion and mushrooms. Cook 5-7 minutes until softened and golden. Add garlic, cook 1 minute.
